Spotlighting the Design Consultant and service level was crucial for this brief. Using emotive copy, I created an editorial-style piece highlighting certain products and trends through each category. The brochure had to work alongside their in-store POS to help the customer navigate through the kitchen buying process. Introducing models into the lifestyle imagery made the brochure more premium.

With the addition of outdoor advertising and colleague engagement, I helped shine a spotlight and spread awareness of the work they do in the community.

Personal Project
Wedding Invitation
Overview
Designing your own wedding invitation is always daunting especially when you are a Designer. There is an expectation from the people you know, so the pressure was on. We always knew Woburn Abbey would be our dream location and thankfully it came true. Surrounded with so much history, I used the location as inspiration when designing the wedding invitation. I looked at old letter press imagery and kept the design clean and classic with a modern twist. The printed invitation when opened was an elegant pop-up revealing the location of the wedding. Woburn is famous for its Deer Park and this was a main focal point of the design.
Personal Project
First Birthday Invitation
Overview
For my son’s first birthday, I designed his birthday theme, invitation and keepsake storybook inspired by Beatrix Potter’s Peter Rabbit. We are huge fans of the classic children’s books and often read the short stories to my son. Having done a huge amount of research into the origin of the short stories and Beatrix Potter herself, I looked to when her characters first appeared. Beatrix often wrote letters to poorly children in hospital to help bring a little joy and comfort to their lives. This inspired me to design the invite as a handwritten original short story about when Peter Rabbit first met my son. The rest fell into place quite naturally. I designed and handmade all printed literature and also designed animated teasers for mobile which was sent out to all our guests leading up to the event. I treated this project as I would treat any brand campaign and had a lot of fun along the way.
Personal Project
Second Birthday Invitation
Overview
For my son’s second birthday, I designed and handmade his birthday theme and invitation. My son had a fascination with air balloons. He loved their bright colours and the motion of seeing them floating in the air. This inspired me to produce something completely unique and different rather than a traditional printed invite. With Teddy by his side and my son’s adventurous nature, we created ‘#ahaansadventure.’ All guests received a handmade box containing a message in a bottle with a mini model of my son with Teddy in an air balloon. The box contained details of when my son and Teddy would be landing, which was the date of his birthday. A fun and quirky project.
